As a contributing member of the Tenth Amendment Center, chances are I have given you a ring or sent you an email at some point. Hopefully it wasn’t while you were in the middle of dinner or fast asleep! But that’s certainly a possibility. I make a lot of calls.
I am tasked with (among other things) growing the the membership base of the organization. It is the life’s blood of the work that we do educating Americans and engaging in activism.
While there aren’t any physical, regional TAC offices, we have activists working from coast-to-coast pushing our work forward. It is my job to make sure these activists stay engaged and continue to push the ball forward for liberty. I work from several internet databases that make it convenient to access information. From there, I call patriotic individuals, greet them, administer surveys, catalog all relevant feedback, and develop our membership base.
The work can be tedious, but it is definitely worth it when I see our organization on stable footing and poised for serious growth. Already, there are too many nullification bills being introduced around the country for us to track. We find terminology that we were instrumental in reviving (such as the anti-commandeering doctrine) popping up in bills introduced by Republicans and Democrats all the time. It may not be broadcast regularly on the mainstream news, but what is happening in state legislatures around the country is nothing short of miraculous.
And you, as our members, are the lifeblood that fuels this progress toward restoring the Republic and preserving our blessed liberty. For that, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you!
